The Fruitmarket Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery showing world class modern and contemporary art to ever-increasing audiences.

Established in 1974 and located in the heart of Edinburgh, the Gallery works with renowned contemporary artists, and is widely recognised as one of the most important and exciting art institutions in the world.

It’s an exciting time to join the Fruitmarket Gallery’s team, as the organisation is about to embark on an ambitious development project which will see the Gallery upgrade its existing building and expand into the building next door, bringing it into cultural use.

The Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) will be a key member of the Development Team, responsible for maintaining and expanding our portfolio of partnerships with trusts and foundations to enable The Fruitmarket Gallery to realise its long-term artistic and organisational ambitions.

A skilled fundraiser, with excellent communication and relationships skills, you will have sound experience in identifying new funding prospects and in securing funds from trusts and foundations. The ability to build effective relationships and share a passion for the importance of The Fruitmarket Gallery’s work are essential, as is the ability to work creatively and collaboratively across teams.
