Development Manager

The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is a vibrant, international community of young musicians, actors and theatre technicians in the heart of the City of London. Founded in 1880, and located within the Barbican complex, the Guildhall School sits at the heart of one of London’s most dynamic cultural areas. We produce outstanding graduates – from Daniel Craig to Bryn Terfel, Jodie Whittaker to Alison Balsom - whose talents light up stages and concert platforms throughout the world.

This is an exciting time to join the Guildhall School, with the founding of Culture Mile - a major destination for culture and creativity - and significant investment having been made in the School’s Development and Alumni Relations team.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and talented Development Manager to initiate and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of prospects and to secure transformational gifts in support of the Guildhall School and its work developing these outstanding young artists.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience of major gift fundraising and meeting personal income targets, as well as having excellent interpersonal and communications skills, plus the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
