Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust

Development Manager

Cambridge, UK

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) is dedicated to changing patients’ lives at Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals. Whether it’s treatment for an emergency, acute condition, pregnancy or long term illness, we believe that every patient deserves the highest quality of care available.

We rely on major donations to help us make breakthroughs in research, provide state of the art equipment and invest in the future of patient care.  Such work requires long-term investment. This is why the support we receive from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations is essential.

Last year we raised £6.1m in voluntary income across all income streams and we have ambitions to grow this income which is underpinned by our conviction that there is so much more we could do that would bring benefits to our patients

We are now seeking a Development Manager who will form a crucial part of the Relationship Team and will develop relationships with our existing and potential supporters who are interested in supporting our priority projects at home or as part of our international work; Cambridge Global Health Partnerships (CGHP).

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a track record in the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts from high net-worth individuals, ideally gained from a medical fundraising or healthcare charity. Superior relationship-building and communication skills will ensure your ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

If you enjoy nurturing and developing relationships with a diverse range of supporters and would like to contribute to future growth and success of the team, please contact our recruitment partners, Richmond Associates.
