Fundraising Manager (Grants) 

The Royal Shakespeare Company creates theatre at its best, made in Stratford-upon-Avon and shared around the world.

Position: Grants Manager 
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon or London 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £32-36k

About the Role: 

The RSC is recruiting a Grants Manager to join our Development department. This is a full-time permanent position based in either our Stratford-upon-Avon or London offices. 

As Grants Manager, you will be working directly to the Head of Major Giving and Trusts where your responsibilities will include developing an outstanding portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory funders to support the RSC’s work. 

You will be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required. The RSC’s Development department is split between Stratford-upon-Avon and London, the post could be based in either office although regular trips to the other office will be required. 

About You: 

The ideal candidate will have experience of successful fundraising specifically from trusts, foundations and statutory funders. You will be experienced in submitting high quality, accurate applications and your writing skills will be exceptional and compelling. Your articulate communication and interpersonal skills will make liaison with people at all levels clear and sincere. We are looking for a proven relationship builder capable of developing internal and external networks and representing the RSC.
