Head of Fundraising and Communications

Would you relish playing a leadership role in fundraising and communications to help save nature in Wales? We are looking for an influential public affairs and/or fundraising professional to join our senior leadership team in RSPB Cymru.

Salary: £48,848 to £56,989 per annum
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent

A proactive self starter, you will enjoy developing people and partnerships to build support for natures' recovery and the RSPB. This new role will lead teams of staff working across Wales, working in fundraising, funding advocacy, communications, campaigns, visitor experience, destination marketing, engagement, youth, volunteering and education.

You will be experienced, credible leader who can work collaboratively with peers to help shape RSPB's strategic direction in fundraising and communications across the UK, and clearly articulate the requirements of the Welsh operating environment to colleagues outside Wales. You will be able to inspire teams to meet ambitious fundraising, communications and engagement targets in the context of high regulatory and safeguarding standards. Fluency in Welsh is highly desirable for this role.
