The RSPB is looking for an experienced individual to head up the Supporter Marketing Team.

Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent

This is a critical role in delivering income to help us achieve our ambitious aims to save nature. You will be responsible for leading the strategy for a range of fundraising communications and products with the aim of recruiting, retaining and developing long term relationships with our supporters.

The perfect candidate will have a strong background in direct marketing and knowledge of associated best practice and techniques. You will have managed large, complex budgets and have an analytical mind to optimise campaign performance across a range of products and channels. You will have a demonstrable track record of developing strategies for growth and then delivering those through a team.

The remit of this role also includes the RSPB's flagship membership publications so an understanding of magazines and / or membership publications would be beneficial.

As Head of Supporter Marketing you will be a confident leader with the ability to inspire and motivate your team, as well as build strong collaborative relationships with other colleagues, teams and external agencies, to drive engaging supporter communications that achieve targets.
