RSPB High Value Fundraising is looking for a major donor fundraiser to join our ambitious development team.

Salary starting at: £25,463 to £29,707 per annum

Contract: Permanent

With an attractive portfolio of diverse conservation projects that need funding (habitat creation and restoration, species recovery, and education and family engagement); you will have the opportunity to develop new major income generating relationships, and present the RSPB's work in ways that inspires and allows donors to have a major impact to help save nature.

As a motivated major donor fundraising professional, your superb relationship-building skills and excellent communication abilities will identify and secure the support of high net worth individual philanthropists for some of the RSPB's major conservation initiatives.

We would love to hear from candidates who can demonstrate their experience of effectively prospecting and managing high level funder relationships, alongside their experience of working in a target driven environment. You will join a dynamic friendly team working to deliver high quality stewardship and ensure major donors are kept fully appraised of developments in what will be a rapidly changing, energetic and exciting period of conservation innovation.

This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.
