We are looking for an experienced and committed individual to join us as Fundraising & Marketing Project Manager, playing a critical role in supporting projects of strategic importance in the Fundraising and Marketing division.

As Fundraising & Marketing Project Manager, you will sit within the Supercharger team in Innovation and Business Development which drives large initiatives across departments, as well as upskilling other employees and supporting teams through change. You will lead the delivery and management of projects across the Fundraising and Marketing division and support the teams to embed change resulting from these initiatives. In addition you will:

  • Shape long-lasting cultural change by coaching and mentoring individual members of the Fundraising and Marketing division to embed best practice approach to change and project management
  • Be accountable for planning, managing and evaluating the projects across the team, ensuring systems and processes are in place to enable the team to deliver on ambitious growth targets
  • Plan and deliver an in-depth profiling and understanding of supporters across the portfolio to inform stewardship and journeys and ensure sufficient and suitable data is being captured to further refine our offering
  • Build excellent external relationships to enable Save the Children to guarantee successful development and implementation and maintain a differentiated offering.

To be successful you will have excellent project management skills, delivering to deadlines and changing work priorities as well as experience leading complex projects in an ever-changing environment. An expert in Fundraising with specialism in mass market, you will have a proven track record of leading successful income growth strategies. A can-do attitude with the confidence to break down barriers and solve problems is essential as is:

  • Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to evaluate the potential of new business models
  • The ability to understand and promote a customer orientated approach
  • Experience of working in a charity fundraising or marketing environment
  • The ability to initiate and hold high value/senior level relationships on behalf of Save the Children and negotiate external partnerships
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
