We’re leading the work to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's and you could be part of helping us achieve this.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to cover maternity leave, and to support the Individual Giving team in creating, planning and managing direct marketing activities, through campaign, project and agency management.

Reporting directly to the Individual Giving Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day agency and supplier relationships and ensure that direct marketing activities are in line with the Individual Giving team and Fundraising Directorate priorities, whilst supporting the overall Parkinson’s UK strategic plan.

To be successful, you will have experience of individual giving or direct marketing in a fundraising environment, with proven experience of successfully managing campaigns to deliver results against agreed objectives and targets. You should also have experience of strategic campaign planning.

With proven success in donor acquisition and donor development through direct marketing techniques across different channels, you will also have a strong track record of managing external agencies and suppliers as well as substantial experience of designing and producing printed fundraising materials in support of direct marketing campaigns.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong copywriting and creative skills and the ability to proof copy and artwork. You should also have a very high standard of attention to detail.

You will have great analytical skills and the ability to evaluate direct marketing results to inform future activity. You will be highly organised, have excellent project and time management skills, and be able to manage multiple projects at any one time.
