Senior Major Donor Officer (Partnerships Fundraising)

A fantastic fundraising opportunity to work with an award winning team!

Arthritis Care is the UK’s leading arthritis charity offering information and support to everyone affected by arthritis. We provide a number of online and face to face services to ensure that no one faces arthritis alone.

Position: Partnership Fundraising Executive
Location: Old Street, London
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: circa £31,000 per annum

About the role:

As part of the Partnerships Fundraising team you will develop and manage high value relationships. Our supporters and funders are at the heart of what we do and achieve. It’s their generosity which enables us to run our helpline and deliver innovative self-management services. This is an exciting role which brings together the identification and stewardship of larger trust/grant funders and high value prospects/donors. Arthritis Care already benefits from the generosity of key funders including the Big Lottery and Children in Need. This role will continue to develop the pipeline of funding.

Engaging high value individuals is relatively new to Arthritis Care, but we do now have a small portfolio of supporters who require excellent stewardship to engage them more deeply in our work as well as identifying, exploring and engaging their networks. This is the first time in recent years that Arthritis Care has invested in a high value fundraiser, and their experience/skills will be a very welcome contribution to the team.

About you:

The successful Partnerships Fundraiser will need experience of identifying, developing and managing high value relationships (both trusts and individuals) as well as the drive to plan and deliver exceptional donor stewardship. Highly developed personal skills and the ability to prioritise your work are also key to success in this role. We’re looking for candidates who are flexible, adaptable and reliable to the needs of a growing organisation.

You may have experience of the following: Fundraising Executive, Partnership Fundraising Executive, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Fundraising, Donor Management, IOF, Supporter Care, High Value Fundraising, Business Development, etc.
