Senior Philanthropy Consultant

Salary: £300 per day; Self Employed; Part Time (equivalent to 16 hours or 2 days per week); Office Based (minimum 1 day a week, Tuesday-Friday); Flexible Working

UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation works with world leading experts helping to fund ground breaking medical research as well as supporting staffing, building and equipment projects throughout University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate, self starter to work with our small, friendly team to help develop and grow income from trusts, foundations and high net worth individuals.

We are seeking someone with the following skills and experience:-

• proven experience of working alone as well as in a small team
• a self starter who is able to work on their own initiative
• 5+ years experience of working in fundraising
• proposal and report writing experience and demonstrable experience of bringing large (6 figure plus) sums in single applications
• experience of trust research and knowledge of its importance in successful trust fundraising
• excellent at networking (with decision makers at Trusts, Trustees, clinicians/academics, colleagues within the NHS and high profile individuals)
• good communicator, intuitive, empathetic and diplomatic
