We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Trusts and Statutory Income Officer to join our income generation team.

Line managed by the Deputy Chief Executive this role will be responsible for developing and implementing our trust and statutory fundraising strategies with the aim of securing investment from individuals and companies for Leap’s high-impact work for young people.

The successful candidate will further develop relationships to grow our trust donations and statutory income. This is a superb opportunity for someone with a strong relationship building skills and experience raising significant funds from trusts and or statutory contracts.

We are the UK’s only national charity that specialises in the creative management of youth conflict. Based on 30 years’ experience of delivering group training, Leap’s programmes aim to raise the emotional intelligence of participants and empower them to effectively manage the conflict in their lives. 

As well as training young people, we deliver training for the frontline professionals who support them. By building the capabilities of these practitioners across the youth sector, our work has greater reach and longer lasting impact. 

Leap’s work is funded through various sources including charitable trusts, statutory bodies, individual and corporate donations, and the sale of our training. Leap has grown its income rapidly in the last two years from £1.2m to £1.9m, with all income sources showing an increase. The Senior Trust and Statutory Income Officer will be responsible for growing our income of £1.2m from charitable trusts and developing new income from statutory sources.

The post-holder will build on strong foundations of excellent relationships with many of the leading foundations and will work in collaboration with excellent freelance bid writers.
