Fundraiser - Community Events

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraiser to join our Community Engagement Team.

Fundraiser Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for maximizing income and sustainable support from our wide range of third party community events and will organize our bespoke community events.

Fundraiser Requirements:

It is desirable the successful applicant has demonstrable experience in fundraising, however if you have experience in marketing or sales and are looking to get into fundraising then this role would be a great introduction.

The position will be based with our Fundraising team in our fundraising office in Weybridge Business Park, Addlestone. The post holder will need to travel extensively throughout Shooting Star Children’s Hospice’s catchment area to attend meetings and events, some of which are during early morning, evenings or weekends. You will therefore need to have a full driving license and own a car for this role.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. We have two hospices, Shooting Star House in Hampton, and Christopher's in Guildford, as well as a hospice at home team.

Location: Weybridge Business Park, Addlestone Road, Surrey, KT15 2UE

Job type: Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: circa £25,000 per annum
