Major Gifts Fundraising Manager

Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent major donor fundraising manager to join the major gifts team to develop a portfolio of new and existing donors and implement and maintain a comprehensive middle giving programme to include donor stewardship and bespoke cultivation events to maximize income opportunities.

The successful applicant will have worked within a fundraising role, have a clear understanding of how to plan fundraising activities and events to generate income and knowledge of donor/supporter engagement and associated mechanics. This role has line management responsibility for a coordinator role within the team, so excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills are essential.

The post will be based at Bridge House in Addlestone but will also need to travel to the hospices, Christopher’s at Artington near Guildford and Shooting Star House at Hampton as and when required.

You may be required to attend events at weekends or in the evening therefore you are required to be a car owner and driver.
