SNAPS, a fantastic Leeds charity that offers specialist activities for children with additional needs and support for their siblings and families, is recruiting a Community Fundraising Manager.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to make their mark on this wonderful charity and help shape how it moves forward into the next stage of its development.

SNAPS has recently expanded our provision; however, we know there are still more families who need our support.  Therefore, we are recruiting a second Community Fundraising Manager to help us grow our income and ultimately allow us to expand our delivery further.

Working as part of the fundraising team, the two Community Fundraising Managers will be responsible for generating funds from:

  • Individual Donors
  • SNAPS Events
  • Sponsored Activities
  • Community Organisations
  • Community Activity
  • Corporate Partners
  • Grant Applications
  • Local and National Events such as the Great North Run and Leeds 10KM
  • Working with our members

The successful individual will be enthusiastic, passionate, organised, self-motivating, personable and will have great communication skills and a proven track record of generating funds through community and corporate activities. 

They will be responsible for their own budget and expected to recruit and work with volunteers to increase income.  The Community Fundraising Managers will be the face of SNAPS in the community and so will thrive on meeting new people and presenting SNAPS in a professional manner to a variety of audiences.

This role is home based and is 18 (flexible) hours a week.

The closing date is 24th January 2019 and interviews will be held on Tuesday 5th February 2019.
