Solent Mind is the largest third sector provider of mental health services in the Hampshire region offering a range of high quality services to improve people’s mental wellbeing and to promote choice and rights to everyone who needs our support in communities across Southampton, Portsmouth and Hampshire.  In 2016/17 our highly motivated staff and volunteers touched the lives of over 20,000 people.

We are looking for a talented and creative individual to join our fundraising team.

We are currently recruiting for a Community and Events Fundraising Officer – ref: CEFOfeb18

£21,512 - £23,166 pro rata per annum  - 18.5 hours per week - Based at our Head Office Southampton

As part of the fundraising team, you will:

• Develop and deliver all aspects of the Solent Mind Community and Events fundraising programme.
• Recruit and support volunteers within the community to fundraise for Solent Mind.
• Research & develop relationships and income from community groups & partners and represent Solent Mind to external bodies and supporters.
• Work with the team at Solent Mind to ensure an effective fundraising function including donor relations; alongside the Communications Officer, organise the design and use of fundraising materials and equipment.
