Full/Part-Time Fundraising Executive

Deadline for applications 15 March 2018.

Are you an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of success? Are you ready for a new challenge? Are you a team player? You could be just the person we need to help us achieve our ambitious plans for development. With four established projects and several new initiatives in the pipeline to fund, it’s certainly an exciting time to join us, especially as we have just launched a new vision, branding and website.

In this brand new role within our small and close-knit fundraising team, you will make a really big difference to our ability to develop opportunities we’ve never explored before. You will work with our Partnerships Director and Fundraising Assistant to move forward all aspects of our fundraising. You will need to pick up existing relationships as well as find new opportunities, so people skills are a must.

Key responsibilities include:

  • trust research and reporting;
  • running our membership scheme;
  • helping to run our events programme;
  • major donor prospect research (and solicitation of gifts, depending on level of experience);
  • working with our digital and marketing teams on a digital fundraising strategy.

The successful applicant will have:

  • a collaborative approach;
  • some fundraising experience;
  • excellent organisational and networking skills;
  • first-rate communication skills and impeccable written English;
  • experience of a relational database (we use ThankQ);
  • a good understanding of the Christian sector.

SPCK, founded in 1698, is the oldest Anglican mission agency and the UK’s largest independent Christian publisher. Our vision is a world where everyone is transformed by Christian knowledge. Our mission is to lead the way in creating books and resources that help everyone to make sense of faith.

Deadline for applications 15 March 2018.

Salary: £24-29,000pa, depending on experience. This role offers scope for part-time and / or flexible working. Full draft job description will be supplied to long-listed candidates.

IMPORTANT NOTE: our aim is to respond to all long-listed applications within 5 days of the deadline. If you haven’t been contacted by then, your application will not be taken forward and your details will not be held further. We apologise that we cannot contact everybody in person, but thank you in advance for your interest.

The client is happy to conduct telephone interviews for overseas candidates.
