JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure.  We fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. We also provide information for children and adults living with the condition at all stages from diagnosis and beyond.  We give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and campaign for an increased focus on and funding for research to find the cure. Internationally we have funded £1billion of research so far.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Special Events Fundraiser to join our Special Events Team.

This is a great opportunity for a highly organised and confident fundraiser to take a step up in event management. You will take lead responsibility for a number of special events, including gala dinners and sporting events, as well assisting the Special Events Manager in the development and implementation of JDRF’s Event Strategy.  

You will be given the scope to develop existing events as well as creating new and innovative events to increase fundraising as well as raising awareness of JDRF. Relationship building is a key part of the role and an integral part of working for JDRF so you will have excellent interpersonal and stewardship skills.
