St Gemma’s Hospice is seeking a Senior Fundraiser (Corporate and Initiatives). The successful candidate must have substantial fundraising experience along with some management experience.

St Gemma’s has a fundraising target of over £6 million per year. As Senior Fundraiser (Corporate and Initiatives), you will lead the development and implementation of plans to increase donations to St Gemma’s Hospice in line with the Hospice’s Income Generation Strategy.  You will explore and understand the market in which you operate, understanding what motivates businesses and organisations to raise money for the Hospice.  You will be confident with making presentations about the Hospice to businesses and organisations and attend networking events on behalf of St Gemma’s.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising you will lead and manage a Fundraiser (Corporate & Initiatives), ensuring that fundraising is of the highest standard and runs smoothly, efficiently and economically in a way which meets all regulatory and legislative requirements. You will have personal responsibility for achieving a demanding income budget from corporate groups.

It is essential that you have the ability to plan effectively and meet tight deadlines.  Excellent time management is essential in this role due to the large workload and demanding supporter database.

Ability to drive and use of a car is essential as well as being able to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends).
