St. Rocco’s Hospice is looking for a creative, confident and energetic Community Fundraiser to engage and motivate supporters in generating income for patient care. The Fundraising team work collaboratively so there will be many opportunities to get involved in other areas of fundraising giving you the potential to develop your experience.

The role will involve working closely with volunteers and the candidate will require excellent networking and relationship building skills. The applicant will run existing fundraising initiatives and be able to identify new fundraising opportunities. It is important that the candidate has a real understanding of what motivates supporters to raise funds for the Hospice.

This is a role where you will make a real difference to all those who need our care. The successful candidate will join a dedicated fundraising team whose work supports the continued provision of the Hospice’s highly valued services.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 days between Monday to Sunday at days and times notified by your line manager. These hours do not include a 1/2 hour unpaid meal break.

Salary: £21,210.00 per annum.

The post is not a salary incremental post and pay reviews are at the discretion of the Hospice.

There will be travel within the local geographical region therefore a full driver’s licence and own car with a valid motor insurance certificate that shows fully comprehensive business use cover at Class 2 level is required.
