Are you a creative, energetic and engaging events fundraiser looking for a challenge? Join our dynamic fundraising team and make a difference to hospice care.

St. Rocco’s Hospice is looking for an exceptional Sporting and Challenge Events Fundraiser to join our team. You will be responsible for generating income from high profile events such as the Starlight Ladies Walk and Colour Run, as well as engaging participants for a range of external sporting and challenge events.

A graduate, ideally with experience in events fundraising, marketing, sales or similar, you will be a hardworking, motivated individual with a caring approach to our supporters.

The role will involve working closely with volunteers, suppliers and event participants and the candidate will require excellent organisational skills and be target driven.

It is important that the candidate has a good understanding of the event management process and is proactive in participant recruitment and income generation.

About the Charity – At St Rocco’s we want to make every day count for our patients living with life limiting illness and their loved ones. This is a role where you will make a real difference to all those who need our care. The successful candidate will join a dedicated fundraising team whose work supports the continued provision of the Hospice’s highly valued services.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 days between Monday to Sunday at days and times notified by your line manager. These hours do not include a 1/2 hour unpaid meal break.

Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 per annum depending upon skills & experience.

The post is not a salary incremental post and pay reviews are at the discretion of the Hospice.

There will be travel within the local geographical region therefore a full driver’s licence and own car with a valid motor insurance certificate that shows fully comprehensive business use cover at Class 2 level is required.
