Stick ‘n’ Step supports children and young people with cerebral palsy, and their families from across North West England and North Wales. Our professional team is passionate about helping each child to reach their personal potential, and to be as independent as possible.

Stick ‘n’ Step is a growing organisation with ambitious plans for the future, and a strong track record of achieving success in major organisational change. Our proactive development and growth is driven by a desire to do more of what we do, and to do it better than ever before.

Sessional group conductive education sessions are delivered on a weekly basis from our centres in Wallasey and Runcorn; supporting more than 70 children every week. This number is set to grow to 120 families by the end of 2020. Our professional classroom team deliver lively, engaging and challenging sessions; creating a positive, happy and empowering environment for our children to learn in. The job of our fundraising team is to ensure we have the money necessary to continue to employ the best possible team members, and to provide them with the resources they require to support the families we work with.

We believe passionately that a child’s opportunities to overcome some of the effects of living with cerebral palsy should never be linked to their family’s wealth – so our sessions are delivered completely free of charge to the families we work with. If you share this passion and you can demonstrate that you meet the criteria in the person specification, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will join our experienced and dynamic fundraising team, helping us to secure the more than £500,000 it costs to operate Stick ‘n’ Step each year. With significant experience in community fundraising, the successful candidate will operate from our Runcorn centre, looking after some of our existing supporters and helping to secure new income from across North West England and North Wales.

If this sounds like you, apply now with your CV & Covering Letter.

The closing date for applications is 7th May 2018 at midnight.

Interviews will take place at either our Wallasey or Runcorn locations on 21st May 2018.
