Trust and Foundation Manager

£30,750 per annum (Ref:  SUS2514)

37.5 hours per week – based in Bristol

Sustrans is about to embark upon the largest ever fundraising campaign for the National Cycle Network since its creation.  We have a bold ambition for the future of the NCN and Trust and Foundation income will be an important revenue stream in realising our new vision.  This role requires a dynamic individual who has the experience to build upon our established Trust and Foundation programme in line with campaign objectives.

Working UK-wide you will plan, develop, support and where appropriate lead the building of high-level strategic relationships with major Trusts and Foundations. Additionally you will work with colleagues across our seven regional offices, supporting and co-ordinating engagement with local Trusts and Foundations. You will be able to write compelling proposals and applications to secure 5, 6, and 7 figure grants and gifts from trusts, foundations and other funders, co-ordinating input from colleagues across Sustrans teams. You will have knowledge of Trust and Foundation funding trends and of sources of Trust giving data and intelligence.  You will have be committed to the promotion of active travel.
