Location: The North West Region covers Greater Manchester, Lancashire, South Cumbria, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Preferably full time (although part time/flexible hours will be considered for the right person)


About the role
We are looking for a creative, dynamic, target driven individual who, using their experience, skills and enthusiasm will develop exciting new opportunities in this region and grow income.

Regional Fundraising at Teenage Cancer Trust covers a wide remit of fundraising activities you will need to possess a strong background in a range of fundraising techniques, including major gifts, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and community-driven fundraising. You will be responsible for developing all these income streams and will take a lead role in the cultivation and solicitation of significant individual support, and management of major fundraising opportunities in order to reach targets.

You’ll need to be a natural leader and strong communicator, with the ability to build effective and long-term relationships both internally and externally. Managing the fundraising team, you will inspire and motivate the team to maximise all fundraising activities in the region and deliver great results and you’ll develop their skills and utilise their experience

Part of this role will involve you working with patients receiving treatment on our units, their families and friends and also those who are bereaved who want to fundraise for us. It can make the job an emotional one at times, but it’s also one of the most rewarding aspects of the job. We have a range of support, benefits and training to help you cope with the emotional demands of the role, but a good level of general emotional resilience is also needed.
