Fundraising and Development Officer

Bats are amazing animals, and an important part of our natural environment. The Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) is proud to be the leading non-governmental organisation devoted solely to the conservation of bats and their habitats. Our mission is to secure the future of bats in a changing world. BCT works on a number of levels to create a better world for bats and runs a range of different projects and initiatives.

We are looking for a fundraising and development officer to maximise project fundraising income from large statutory, trust, corporate and other grant funders by leading across the BCT team on developing and submitting project bids. You will be responsible for managing and developing fundraising bids by collaborating with colleagues (internal and external). You will work closely with the Senior Management Team and project staff to enable BCT to secure sufficient funding to deliver annual priorities and longer term strategic objectives.
