Event Fundraising Officer

Location:  Flexible - Somerset, Essex or Cheshire

We have an incredible opportunity to join our expanding fundraising team. In what is a new role, the Events Fundraising Officer will be responsible for developing and managing a new running, challenges and mass-participation events programme to support the needs of a growing national charity which works with children with disabilities and additional needs. 

We’re looking for someone with proven experience of event management, relationship management, supporter care and events marketing.  You will also need to have experience of monitoring budgets and/or financial information including the ability to forecast and meet budget targets.

Working creatively with a new ambitious fundraising and marketing team you will develop and deliver innovative and unique fundraising events to maximise income generation.  The post holder will provide support for the National and Regional fundraising teams in securing financial support from all areas of fundraising.  You will engage and maintain relationships with individual fundraisers, beneficiaries and community groups.
