The Courtauld Institute of Art has become the world’s foremost centre for the study of visual art with renown programmes in the history of art, conservation and curating. The Courtauld is a University and a Gallery, working together to make art accessible to all, by inviting our varied audiences and a diverse student population to think more deeply and engage more fully in questions about why and how the history of art matter, and why an understanding of our visual culture is urgently important in contemporary society.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the Development Manager is a key-member of the Philanthropy team with a fundraising target of £150,000 in his/her first year. The post-holder will work with colleagues to successfully reach targets for institutional priorities. The Development Manager’s work will involve fundraising, creative thinking, and opportunities to develop special lower level giving appeals as necessary.
