Fairtrade Foundation is recruiting for a Senior Fundraising Manager to secure funds for a mixed portfolio of projects and programmes and to manage key relationships with donors, as well as managing active grants.
You’ll need to be a fantastic communicator and negotiator with a proven track record of successful fundraising and be someone who thrives in a challenging environment! It would be great if you have an established network of donor contacts, and experience of working in the corporate sector, but it’s not essential.
The Fairtrade Foundation works with communities, businesses and individuals to tackle global poverty and injustice through transforming trading structures and practices. We are the UK’s leading voice on Fairtrade issues, an independent beyond profit organisation that uses the FAIRTRADE Mark to promote sustainable development and bring about real, structural change. Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers. It supports the development of thriving farming and worker communities, so that they have more control over their futures and protecting the environment in which they live and work. By giving farmers a better deal they can make their own decisions, control their futures and lead the dignified life everyone deserves.
The Fairtrade Foundation is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community
Closing date: 26 February 2018 (10am)
Interviews will take place on 12 March.
