Legacy Case Officer

Are you an organised individual with great interpersonal skills and a flair for building relationships?

An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Legacy Case Officer to become an integral member of the Fundraising & Marketing team.

You will manage own caseload ensuring Guide Dogs Legacy income is maximised and received as quickly as possible.

Role details:

• Location: Central Office, Burghfield Common, Reading
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 35 hours per week, however part time applications considered
• Interviews: week commencing 30th October 2017
• Key requirements: Right to work in the UK

Role in a nutshell:

You will be responsible for a share of over £34 M income of allocated legacy cases, ensuring that maximum value is achieved for Guide Dogs.

You will analyse the Estate/Trust Accounts, carefully examining their actions, recommendations and omissions, ensuring all estate assets have been accounted for to maximise Legacy income.

You will be a confident, flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic and well- organised individual with knowledge of inheritance tax, Probate Law and the IOF Code of Practice.
