Fundraising Co-ordinator (Fixed Term Maternity Cover), The National Brain Appeal (Band 6)

The National Brain Appeal is a small, independent charity with big ambitions. We fund advances in clinical care and research at The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery and Institute of Neurology at Queen Square, London. We are looking for a Fundraising Co-ordinator (Fixed Term Maternity Cover) to join our team from February 2018 for approximately nine months.

The successful candidate will be joining us at an exciting time and will co-ordinate, market and deliver key fundraising activities around events, corporate partnerships and legacy giving. He/she will report to the Head of Fundraising and work alongside the Fundraising Officer (Challenge Events and Individuals) and Fundraising Apprentice.

You will be a motivated, self-starter and have experience as a fundraiser as well as a proven track record of managing corporate partnerships, the ability to build strong relationships and be able and willing to work some evenings and weekends as required (time off in lieu will be given).

Highly organised and creative, you will also have strong communication skills - confident at presenting to groups and in meetings when required. You will also have experience of working in a team, delivering work to deadlines and budgets and managing multiple priorities to achieve goals.

Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
