The Poppy Factory has an exciting opportunity for an innovative, motivated and results-focused individual to join our energetic and collegial Fundraising team. 

The Trust fundraising programme is well established and this is a great opportunity to continue to build on the trust fundraising strategy. The Trust Fundraising Manager role offers the post holder the opportunity to further develop trust fundraising income stream, as well as taking responsibility for the Military Charity income stream.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and deliver the annual strategy for Trust and Military income streams, ensuring that key goals are met and opportunities for generating income from charitable trusts and military charities are maximized.
  • To successfully deliver an income target of for Trust and Foundations and the Military Charities against the annual business plan.
  • To take responsibility for researching existing and new trusts and foundations, writing funding applications and developing new networks – focusing on opportunities with potential value of £10K+
  • Manage, coach and mentor a Trust Fundraising Officer

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience with a track record of achieving targets in a trust fundraising or similar role, as well as proven account management experience. You will have exceptional written communication and presentation skills, and a sound understanding of the interests and working methods of trusts and foundations. Previous line management experience would be an advantage.
