Theatre by the Lake is nestled on the shores of Derwentwater in the heart of the Lake District National Park – a newly created World Heritage Site.  Described as the jewel in the crown of The Lake District, no one expects to find a producing theatre of exceptional quality in such a rural location, set amongst the magnificent backdrop of the Cumbrian fells. After twenty years of success building a thriving annual audience of 125,000, the theatre’s close-knit and hardworking team have ambitious plans for growth. 

We have a vacancy for an experienced Development Manager to focus on generating income through the growth of individual giving, corporate sponsorship, trusts and foundations and events.

This post is being funded for the first year by a generous donation and will be offered on a permanent basis, subject to the achievement of agreed annual targets.

Salary: £28,000 per annum.
