Are you passionate about challenging poverty and inequality? Do you have the ambition and drive to make a difference as a key senior leader at Toynbee Hall, a charity that for over 130 years has promoted social action and change in the heart of East London and beyond? Most importantly, can you convince others of the value of our work, and secure the investment and support we need to help people and communities change their futures for the better?

Toynbee Hall is looking for an exceptional Head of Fundraising to join our diverse and committed team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be a successful, talented fundraiser, with experience of securing and growing substantial funds for vital work in communities. You’ll know how important diversifying income is, along with building and maintaining great relationships – and you’ll be able to show you can do both to a high level. You’ll be keen to learn and develop your skills, and play a key role in our Senior Management Team; and you will be a confident leader, able to support and develop a talented team of five.

As Toynbee Hall enters an exciting new era, returning to our beautifully revitalised historic home, the challenges of poverty, inequality and exclusion faced by the people and communities around us are even more urgent than ever.

So this is a vital and rewarding role: we are an ambitious team, in a supportive work environment with lots of flexibility to build new opportunities; we are at the heart of one of the most exciting and diverse communities in London; we have some incredible relationships; and we do vital work for which there is a huge and increasing need.

If you think this is you, then we’d love to hear from you.
