13 month - Fixed Term Contract

Parkinson's UK drives better care, treatments and quality of life. Together we can bring forward the day when no one fears Parkinson's and you could be part of helping us achieve this.

We are looking for a Trust and Corporate Fundraiser to maximise fundraising income from charitable trusts, foundations and corporate partners. The post holder will develop and implement a fundraising strategy to maximise income from charitable trusts and foundations including donor cultivation, solicitation and trust donor stewardship. You will also be responsible for significant research, analysis and development of a pro-active fundraising strategy to maximise income from new and existing corporate partners.

The post will be home based but you will be expected to travel throughout Scotland and occasionally the wider UK.

To be successful in the role, you will require:

  • Experience of proposal and presentation writing
  • Experience of producing budgets and writing statutory funding applications
  • A proven track record in research and corporate fundraising, with success in achieving or exceeding fundraising targets
  • The ability to manage your own workload to meet targets and deadlines

Please note, you need to be able to travel around the region without reliance on public transport and if you will be driving, you need to have held your full UK driving licence for a minimum of one year.

If you have the skills and experience we require, we would be delighted to hear from you. In return, you will be working with an experienced team who will not only provide support and encouragement in your role but will invest in your career development by providing the opportunity for further training. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a growing organisation and progress your career.
