Working to fight Leprosy, Lepra is an international charity with programmes in Bangladesh, India and Mozambique. Our work in the field is innovative and well respected.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Trust Fundraiser with an interest in international development and a proven track record in bid writing that generates income in the trusts and foundations sector.  The successful candidate will liaise with our programmes and development teams to strengthen our case of support and funding development.  You will build on current successful relationships and will identify and secure new relationships, increasing income streams to support our projects and core costs.

The Trusts Fundraiser role requires a tenacious and organised approach with the ability to think creatively and strategically. By researching and identifying prospective grant making donors you will directly impact on the work of Lepra's programmes that transform the lives of the poorest people in India, Bangladesh and Mozambique.

You will need to possess excellent communication skills along with a passion and flair for writing compelling applications and bids which can influence charitable trusts and foundations to support Lepra.

If you would you like to work for an international development charity that is one of the leading organisations then we ask you to consider….

Are you proactive, persistent and target driven?

Do you have a talent for cultivating and engaging existing donors, whilst inspiring new support?

Do you thrive when managing multiple grant applications or bids with conflicting deadlines?

Do you pride yourself on your ability to communicate, interact and negotiate with people at all levels?

If the answer is yes to the above then this is the role to apply for.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 16th April 2017 and interviews will be held within two weeks of this date.

Lepra is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
