Following a recent internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen to join Leonard Cheshire Disability - as member of the fundraising department at a time of unprecedented change for disabled people. You will be working in a growing team, raising support for UK and Global programmes.   

In this varied role you will support our Trusts and Philanthropy team to help implement the organisation’s overall fundraising strategy, playing a key role in supporting Leonard Cheshire Disability’s manifesto to work for a society in which every person is equally valued.

We are looking for a hard working self-starter, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will be tasked with writing compelling and engaging applications to a wide range of grant giving bodies, as well as researching new opportunities and sources of income. You will develop and maximise, fundraising income opportunities through trusts and foundations, lottery distributors and other funders across UK and international sources.

You will have a proven track record of generating income through high quality applications, and the ability to quickly form relationships with internal and external partners as a representative of the organisation.
