Grants Fundraiser
Loughborough, Leicestershire

If you have experience of writing funding applications, this is an amazing opportunity to help young people excel in every aspect of their lives, from education and employment to relationships and social wellbeing.

About Us

We are TwentyTwenty, a charity dedicated to building bright futures for young people. We help 11 – 24 year olds who find themselves disadvantaged and disengaged to achieve sustained further education or employment.

We provide support through a range of integrated projects through our award-winning Lifeskills centres based in Derby and Leicester. Each centre is a true learning community and a supportive hub where students meet with teachers, counsellors, mentors and local business volunteers who are all committed helping them succeed.

We’re currently looking for a Grants Fundraiser to join our passionate team in Loughborough and support our grants fundraising activities, which are integral to our important work.

The Benefits

- Salary of £26,156 - £29,929 per annum
- Vibrant and welcoming work environment
- Support an innovative charity that helps young people to become the best version of themselves

We think that young people are brilliant. Despite the challenges they face, they are full of potential, and we believe they are resources to be developed, not problems to be solved.

Your work will enable us to continue changing lives, giving young people the support they need to gain new confidence, earn the right qualifications, gain work-ready skills and find jobs where they can flourish.

So, if you’re looking for the opportunity to make a real difference and help the people who will be shaping tomorrow’s world, you’ve come to the right place.

The Role

As a Grants Fundraiser, you will research, identify and write high-quality, high-value funding bids for a range of funders, including grant giving trusts, statutory providers and institutional bodies.

Working closely with the Fundraising Director and wider team, you’ll write at least £300,000 of bids each month to meet income targets.

You’ll proactively prospect and develop funding opportunities and build positive relationships with foundations, trusts and grant makers.

About You

To join us as a Grants Fundraiser, you’ll need:

- At least two years’ experience of writing funding applications
- Experience of carrying out prospect research
- The proven ability to develop high-quality, complex bids
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- A highly-organised approach and the ability to work well under pressure
- A degree level qualification

Ideally, you’ll be a member of the Institute of Fundraising, but this isn’t essential. Experience of Salesforce would also be beneficial, as would a driving licence.

We’d love to hear from you if you’ve worked as a Fundraiser, Grants Fundraiser, Proposal Writer, Trusts and Grants Fundraiser, Bid Writer, Fundraising Executive, Charity Fundraising Executive or Fundraising Officer.

Webrecruit and TwentyTwenty are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment. Equal opportunities are the only acceptable way to conduct business and we believe that the more inclusive our environments are, the better our work will be.

So, if you’re looking to take on a rewarding new role as a Grants Fundraiser, please apply via the button shown. This vacancy is being advertised by Webrecruit. The services advertised by Webrecruit are those of an Employment Agency.
