Gifts in Wills Relationship Manager

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Gifts in Wills team recruits and develops supporters who would like to leave a gift in their will, or have already included a gift in their will to Unicef UK. Currently, we have over 50,000 such legacy handraisers. The Gifts in Wills function is divided into the following key areas: Legacy administration, Legacy marketing campaign, new supporter welcome programme, stewardship and supporter care and In Memory Giving.

The Relationship Manager has the responsibility of retaining legacy handraisers and securing their long term commitment to Unicef. You will build a strong internal culture, driving cross-organisational working and joint partnership with other Unicef teams and you will manage our in-memoriam programme.

This role is ideal for an ambitious individual who is keen to take the next step in management. You will be one of four managers in an enthusiastic and dedicated team who are committed to raising awareness of the important role legacies and in memoriam gifts play in funding Unicef UK’s work for children.

You will have a sound understanding of the range of channels available to reach supporters, including digital - and be able to propose innovative and creative ways of working to give Unicef supporters an outstanding experience.
