Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Strategy and Planning team is a new team at Unicef UK that works with leaders across the organisation to develop and evolve the organisation’s strategy, ensuring it is driven by insight and cause-led. The team will also be responsible for planning, performance management and the delivery of key strategic projects.

The Impact Analysis Specialist is a brand new role with a specific focus on international programme results: the results Unicef UK helps deliver for children around the world and its accountability to its partners and supporters. In particular, you will review Unicef’s global approach to measuring and reporting programme results, assess how Unicef UK can best target, evidence and communicate its own contribution to outcomes for children, identify and contribute to measures that we needs to achieve this, and create a new outcomes framework for our work.

To succeed, you will have practical experience of developing, and working with, results-based management tools and approaches, gained in the international development sector. You will have experience of working with major donors (institutions, corporates and philanthropists) and a strong understanding of their expectations and requirements as they relate to results and accountability. You will excel at collaborating with others in a multi-disciplinary environment, and in engaging audiences with new thinking and new ways of working.

Closing date: 5pm, Wednesday 14 March 2018.

Interview date: Tuesday 27 March 2018.

This role is currently based in Farringdon. From August 2018, Unicef UK will relocate to Stratford (Zone 2). Our new offices will be close to the new Crossrail station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee and Central Lines, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail and National Rail services.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
