A fantastic opportunity to join the award-winning teams delivering Soccer Aid for Unicef 2019

Soccer Aid for Unicef brings together two teams of celebrities and football legends for the biggest celebrity charity football match in the calendar, broadcast live on ITV. Since its inception in 2006, Soccer Aid for Unicef has raised in excess of £30 million to provide millions of children around the world with life-saving food, vaccines, clean water and protection from violence.

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will build and develop a pipeline of prospects for both the short and long-term new business opportunities in support of Unicef’s work for children.  You will ensure that the integrity of the Unicef brand is maintained through any partnership activation in a way that responds to the speed and agility of a campaign building up to a broadcast moment in time.

To succeed in this role, you will have significant experience of corporate fundraising or business development.  In particular, we are looking for a strong track record of winning, negotiating and delivering six figure new business partnerships, as well as experience of strategic planning and managing budgets. You will excel at engaging with c-suite influencers in order to secure high value partnerships.  Above all, you will be committed to protecting children and their rights.

If you share our values and ethos, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to children around the world.

Closing date: 5pm, Monday 25 March 2019.

Interview date: Friday 5 April 2019.

Unicef UK promotes equality, diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We make employment decisions by matching business needs with skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

We are happy to talk about flexible working, personal growth, and to promote a workplace where you can be yourself and achieve success based only on your merit.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
