This is a completely new role at Wilmslow Guild and the Development Officer will play a key role in supporting the Principal and trustees. All employees are expected to work as a team as this has proven to be key to the success of the centre. The Development Officer will be expected to support colleagues when directed by the Principal.
The Development Officer will use their knowledge and experience to write Wilmslow Guild’s first Fundraising Policy. Once the policy has been approved by the board of trustees the Development Officer will be responsible for its implementation under the supervision of the Principal. Wilmslow Guild looks to use a broad portfolio of fundraising strategies including but not exclusively: major donors, applications to trusts, legacies and individual giving to enable the provision of the adult education centre to expand and improve.
