Having gained experience as a successful fundraiser you are looking for the opportunity to develop your expertise and enhance your CV. This is the opportunity we can offer at the Youth Sport Trust.

As the leading youth sport charity we are devoted to improving the lives of young people through high quality PE and sport. We are an ambitious charity with a clear vision for growth and a strong sense of values. Now is an exciting time for a creative and experienced fundraiser to join us and lead the development and authoring of bids and proposals to Trusts and Foundations, the Big Lottery, Government (national and local) and other funding Invitations.

This will involve working with our Innovation team and Heads of Department to scope and cost projects aligned to our mission and strategy, as well as respond to funding opportunities. You will ensure we deliver high quality presentations and that fundraising activities are compliant with all relevant legal and best practice requirements. You will also identify prospective funders and carry out research to identify new sources of income, as well as devise strategies to develop, extend and strengthen relationships with current supporters. You will also build networks and links with groups and individuals who can us meet our goals. Important too will be the ability to monitor effectiveness and deliver regular income reporting to stakeholders.

You will demonstrate an enviable record of delivering increased funding from a range of sources. Your skills at researching funding opportunities and identifying prospects will be complemented by the ability to produce and deliver high level proposals/pitches. You will also possess a good understanding of best practice fundraising techniques. An effective project manager you will be good at planning and have an eye for detail.  A skilled communicator you will excel at building relationships, influencing others and team working.
