At Guide Dogs we’re dedicated to helping people with sight loss live the life they choose, and we need a passionate and experienced Data Planning Manager to help drive our mission forward.

You will be responsible for overseeing the complete Guide Dogs campaign plan to ensure adherence to internal contact strategy rules across all products and for all stakeholder types. You will also play a key role in evolving our contact strategy, ensuring that we offer the right level of contact to our stakeholders while balancing growth, retention, and fundraising return. Most importantly, you will always put the supporter and stakeholder experience at the heart of every decision. Quality control will be key, as you’ll ensure data selection requests are clearly captured and communicated and that the use of data is maximised. A core part of the role will be advocating the services of the Customer Experience Data Team, leading training programs to educate on processes related to data selections to the wider organisation.

To succeed in this position, you’ll need significant experience in Excel, including advanced VBA programming.

This role demands comfort in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams with potentially opposing objectives. Your ability to communicate complex strategies clearly and make sound data-led recommendations backing organisational strategy will be essential.

In return, we offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, along with opportunities for professional development and growth. We value flexibility, and offer competitive salary and benefits packages to ensure you are well-supported in your career. You’ll also have the chance to be part of a passionate, values-driven team, and help make a real difference in the lives of people with sight loss.

This role is based at our Reading office, working 35 hours per week, Monday through to Friday. We value in-person collaboration with our teams and support hybrid working arrangements, we aim for colleagues to be on-site two days per week with the option to work from remotely for the remaining days offering flexibility to work in a way that’s best for you.

No two people with sight loss are the same, and none of our people are either. So, we are proud to offer a range of person-centred benefits that can support each member of staff in ways that really mean something to them – and show them how much they mean to us. We offer a flexible benefits package, discounts and cashback scheme, a generous holiday allowance and matched contributory pension scheme to care for our people.

If you’re excited about the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and have the experience we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
