Are you a fundraiser looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you want to work on gifts at the seven, eight and nine-figure level?

We are looking for our new Head of Transformational Philanthropy to work with our highest level of donors to secure principal gifts in support of the University of Manchester’s key priorities.  These are gifts that are transformational and enable us to tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges.

Great things happen at The University of Manchester because of the work we do. It could be finding a new treatment for cancer, discovering a new wonder material like Nobel Prize winning graphene, providing a prestigious scholarship to an exceptional student, or influencing government policies to help the world’s poorest people.

Right now is Manchester’s time to shine. This year marks our university’s 200th anniversary and we are celebrating two centuries of education and innovation with a year of events, activities and dynamic programming. We are also preparing to launch our first ever major fundraising and volunteering campaign. 

Reporting to and working closely with the Deputy Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will be joining a highly motivated, collaborative, supportive and friendly team who every day help the University of Manchester have an even greater impact in the world.
