Grow our funds so we can reduce the harm caused by alcohol.

Alcohol misuse harms everyone – not just those who drink, but those around them. It’s also completely avoidable. More than 10 million people in the UK are drinking to excess, costing the NHS £3.5 billion a year and our police, courts and prisons another £4 billion. We’re here to help people develop a better relationship with alcohol through campaigning for improved policies and regulation, creating a healthier drinking culture, delivering behaviour change programmes and championing cutting-edge research into alcohol and its effects. You can join us in transforming countless lives.

We have just agreed a major new strategy, a five-year financial plan and a new approach to fundraising, so you can expect to have an enormous impact on the way we think and work – and of course on our bottom line. You will have a rare opportunity: to join a brand new fundraising function in a charity that has not fundraised before. Focusing on individual, community and in memoriam giving, you will enjoy the backing of the high-profile Dry January campaign, a supportive senior team and a CRM system you can tailor to your needs. You will also have an outstanding opportunity to play a leading role in our mission-centred engagement programme.

Already an experienced charity fundraiser, you will be skilled in producing engaging communications, creating strong copy and forging productive donor relationships. You will also ideally be capable of using design software and ThankQ.

In return, we offer a 6% employer contribution towards your pension, a salary sacrifice scheme, flexible hours and healthy investment in your training and development, among other benefits.
