With the number of older people increasing year on year, many more of us will also benefit from living longer.

Whilst this is to be celebrated, it also means that more older people will face the challenges of later life.  Loneliness, isolation, health, finance and caring responsibilities are a few of the issues where we aim to make a difference.

Through our range of services, which include befriending, information & advice, activity day clubs, nail cutting, dementia support and our nationally recognised Personalised Integrated Care service, we seek to make later life as positive as possible.  But with your help, we want to do more!

This exciting new role will be an opportunity for you to bring your skills, experience, insight and passion to publicise our work and to generate additional income to support our charitable work, with an initial emphasis on developing a legacy programme and unrestricted income.

If you are passionate about using your fundraising and communications skills to improve the lives of older people, we want to hear from you.

Applications are through our website only.

Although initially funded until March 2021, we hope the fixed term contract will become permanent subject to the success of the role.

Age UK South Gloucestershire supports equality and diversity and encourages applications from all sections of the community.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
