About Brain Tumour Support

 

BTS’ vision is to ensure that no one is alone when facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis.

The team are passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and families who are living with a brain tumour and we are committed to the task to ensure that life is made better for this group of people.

- Salary of £25,200 per annum (£18,000 pro rata 25 hours)
- 25 days’ holiday (plus Bank Holidays)

What this role could like for you  

As a Community Fundraiser, you’ll help to contribute to and oversee the implementation of BST’s fundraising strategy. You will be driven towards meeting ambitious income targets via outstanding stewardship of current and new supporters.


In the capacity of Community Fundraiser, you will: 

- Create and drive projects to explore new potential relationships with both community groups and businesses

- Promote fundraising across social media and other outlets to maximise fundraising reach and potential

- Maximise income through fundraising and community based activities by building effective and lasting relationships


About You 

To join us as a Community Fundraiser, you’ll need: 

- Demonstrable experience of using social media in a marketing and/or fundraising capacity

- Strong fundraising skills and previous experience of this

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with emphasis on Publisher, Excel and Word

- A current and valid driving licence


A keen understanding of charity legislation would be advantageous to your application.

Working hours

 

25 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.Please note that we operate a working day from 9am to 5pm, with a one hour break for lunch
(unpaid).  Some evening and weekend working may be required, for which Time in lieu will be granted. Overtime is not payable.
