About KIDS 
KIDS is a national charity which has been supporting disabled children, young people and their families since 1970.

We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years. Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

We are passionate, caring and trusted and our vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations. We offer support and practical help for families, every step of the way.

About The Role 
The role of the Trust Fundraiser is to assist the Trust Fundraising Manager to implement the Trust Fundraising Strategy. In particular, this role will involve producing high-quality, persuasive applications to Trust Funders in order to secure and grow funding for KIDS' projects and core costs. You will be required to build on relationships with existing supporters, and identify and approach Trusts and Foundations that don't currently support KIDS.

About You 
We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of 2 years' experience of fundraising through charitable trusts and/or corporate foundations, and experience of developing relationships with charitable trusts. You will also need experience of working with operational staff to collate project information for applications and reporting.
