Competitive salary & benefits

Since our establishment in 1904, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) has been a world-leading training centre in acting and theatre production disciplines and inspired students of all ages to fully experience the transformative possibilities of stage and screen. As award-winners and leaders in their fields; actors, directors, writers, producers, lighting, sound and costume designers, prop makers, scenic artists, stage managers, production managers, our diverse student and alumni body make a significant contribution to the creative industries globally.

Our Development Department exists to ensure that the most talented students can access our pioneering and practice-led training in the dramatic arts, regardless of their personal or financial circumstances.  The department secures philanthropic and in-kind support to provide vital funding for scholarships, bursaries and our widening participation programme, and soon will be embarking on the RADA Attenborough Campaign that will bring our facilities up-to-date, in line with our world-class training.  We are therefore investing in the team with two new roles, to lead our individual and corporate fundraising activities.

The Head of Corporate Development will shape and drive a robust strategy to deliver against a range of corporate fundraising activity including; creative and innovative high-value, long-term partnerships and sponsorships, corporate memberships, CSR projects, events, philanthropic donations and in-kind support. Key to your success in this role will be your track record of pitching, securing and managing sponsorships at the five figure level or more, as well as your demonstrable strong interpersonal skills, and creative approach to problem solving and  developing relationships.

If you are passionate about the dramatic arts and are looking for the next step in your career then we would love to hear from you.  Please contact our recruitment partners, Sonja Dunphy and Drew Lamph at Richmond Associates, on +44 (0)20 3617 9240 or visit their website to download further details on the role.
