Want to work within our amazing Community Fundraising Team and help save lives at sea? We are currently recruiting for a Community Fundraising Manager to join us covering North Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and growing all aspects of community fundraising for the RNLI in this area. We need your help to generate funds to support our lifesaving service.

Interested? Your role will focus on identifying and delivering new fundraising opportunities, events and projects and enhancing relationships with our existing supporters and donors. You will also develop and work with new Supporter groups to assist with their fundraising plans and events to ensure they can successfully raise funds to help save lives at sea.

The RNLI is keen to engage with highly motivated candidates with an organised approach who can offer strong fundraising skills, creativity and a passion for maximising supporter involvement and income generation. A background in the third sector is not essential but proven fundraising, events or business development experience, or a volunteer management background is desirable. With excellent communication and relationship-building skills, the successful candidate will be able to look strategically at the area they cover, as well as driving forward fundraising on the ground.

Primarily covering the North Somerset, Wiltshire, Bristol and Gloucestershire area, as well as supporting our nationwide development activity, you will be required to regularly travel within the area, as well as more widely when required. A valid driving licence is required. This is a home-based role so interested candidates should live in the area. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

There has never been a more exciting time to join our Community Fundraising team, where every member of staff plays a vital part in saving lives at sea.

This post requires a valid driving licence.
